Joel Plowman

Joel joined in 2013 as a Paraplanner and qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2017. His time with us in a support role has helped him gain the knowledge and experience needed to enable him to now help others decide with confidence the best way for them to secure their financial future. Joel likes to make an effort to get to know each client’s personal situation to ensure that everything is taken into consideration before any decisions are made.
Joel has a young family and recently finished building their first home. He loves cycling and the footy.

Leigh has recently joined our team with over 20 years’ experience as a financial planner. Leigh’s clients are important to her and at the end of the day, she wants to ensure they are comfortable with the overall investment experience.

Rod has a passion for working with his clients with a genuine empathetic approach, to help clients realise their financial goals and live their best lives. Rod comes with nearly 10 years’ experience in financial planning.
Rod loves the outdoors, travelling, surfing, tennis and spending time with family.
Fenella Smith
Practice Manager
Fenella Smith has been a part of the NFS team since 2019 and is our Practice Manager.
She specialises in friendly, ‘can-do’ service and thrives on providing the personalised care that the NFS team prides itself on. Fenella loves the outdoors, good food and travel.
If you need administrative help, she’s your first port of call.
Judy Mackenzie
Judy is our ‘back-office’ specialist who supports our team in their Aged Care work and is an Accredited Aged Care Professional™
Judy joined us in June 2016 and has over 25 years experience in financial and aged care services.
Judy is currently with us 2 days a week and enjoys being involved in the local adult riding club and competing with her horse Buffy and assisting with the Gisborne Food Bank.
