Bob Nixon
Managing Director and Principal Financial Adviser:
Since 1973 Bob has been assisting people in their wealth creation, retirement planning and personal risk protection. In more recent times he has added to this a new focus on the financial needs of the elderly, especially for those that need to enter an Aged care Facility.
Bob now holds the additional designation of an Aged Care Professional™ having completed appropriate training in this regard.
Bob is a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (including its predecessors since 1974) and a Life Member of MDRT, the Premier Association of Financial Professionals®. MDRT is an international association which demands a focus on ethical client centric performance at a level of excellence as measured on a world scale.
Joel Plowman
Adviser: Joel joined in 2013 as a Paraplanner and qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2017. His time with us in a support role has helped him gain the knowledge and experience needed to enable him to now help others decide with confidence the best way for them to secure their financial future. Joel likes to make an effort to get to know each client’s personal situation to ensure that everything is taken into consideration before a decision is made.
Judy Mackenzie
Accredited Accredited Aged Care Professional™. Judy joined us in June 2016 and has over 25 years experience in financial services. Judy is currently with us 2 days a week.
Michelle Abela
As a fully qualified Financial Planner, Michelle provides clients with personalised and contemporary financial planning advice.
Michelle listens and works for her clients, understanding their unique personal circumstances to shape advice focused on achieving their financial goals.
In addition to providing advice across all facets of financial planning, Michelle has a particular interest advising on retirement planning and aged care.
Marlene Zwarts
Marlene commenced as a Financial Planner in 2009 and has gained considerable experience in strategic financial planning.
Prior to commencing with Nixon Financial Services Pty Ltd, Marlene worked for large institutions, including the banking sector, and smaller boutique chartered accounting firms where she provided holistic wealth advice.
Marlene enjoys assisting individuals and families to better manage their affairs.
Marlene holds a Masters in Financial Planning, Aged Care Accreditation, is an Associate Financial Planner (AFP) practitioner of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and has undertaken all FASEA requirements to provide advice to assist your financial planning requirements
